Cormac is Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation at Teesside University and the Community Pain Champion for the Flippin’ Pain Campaign.

Prof. Cormac Ryan is Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation at Teesside University and a Community Pain Champion for the Flippin’ Pain Campaign. He also co-leads the PETAL Collaboration and international group of academics, health professionals’ people with lived experience of pain who seek to improve pain education for all.

He has been researching and teaching in the field of pain and pain education for over 20 years and has published over 100 peer-reviewed publications. He has co-authored pain management standards and guidelines for organisations such as the Faculty of Pain Medicine and the British Pain Society. He also likes to fish!
