Meet the Campaign Team
Cormac is Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation at Teesside University and the Community Pain Champion for the Flippin’ Pain Campaign.
Mahin works as a Campaign Manager and Community Pain Champion for Flippin’ Pain, as well as as an advanced practice physiotherapist and independent prescriber for pain management.
After a motorcycle crash caused lifelong disability, persistent pain, and the loss of a career as a mechanic at age 18, Kai decided to dedicate his time to understanding his own pain and disability.
Originally from Hong Kong, Jagjit (known as ‘Jaj’) has been a physiotherapist for 20 years, as well as a senior lecturer and a well published pain science education researcher.
Libby lives in Hertfordshire and has been living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) since 2011, when, for reasons no one understands, a simple fall somehow triggered the condition.
Lorimer is one of the world’s leading pain scientists and its most renowned pain educator. He’s won prizes for his work in 13 countries, including Australia’s most prestigious prize for medical research.

Niki Jones lives in Wales and struggled with trigeminal neuralgia pain for over 20 years. Learning about pain helped her to feel more in control and helps her to manage her pain well. She now shares her inspiring story with people across the UK.
Lee lives in Sheffield and has lived with pain for over 30 years. Learning more about pain has revealed how his experiences have had a huge impact on his pain, and can hold the potential for recovery. He still has pain in his life, but it’s no longer his entire life.
