Fiona smiling at the camera.

Fiona is a trainee clinical psychologist and lived with persistent pain for 25 years.

After feeling like nothing could help her, she found the techniques taught by Flippin’ Pain and this helped her to make a recovery.

She is passionate about others knowing that recovery is possible and feels like Flippin' Pain do a brilliant job educating others in an accessible, fun way. She has partnered with the campaign, being part of our event panels, to help bring pain out into the open, at a time when many people still struggle alone.

After seven years of recovery and building up her skillset, she is training at Oxford to be a clinical psychologist. Long term, she hopes she will work with people in pain.

In her spare time, Fiona loves to row and be on the water whenever she can. She’s also a keen dancer, hiker and loves to sew when she needs some time indoors sitting down.
