Our ‘life changing’ public health tour
Flippin’ Pain has completed a week-long tour across the Tees Valley area!
With an overall goal of changing the way people think about, talk about and treat chronic pain, the team organised six days of free events and activities, taking the campaign messages to towns and cities across North East England.
A wheelie good cause
25 cyclists are taking up the challenge of the Flippin’ Pain Peloton, a 180-mile bike ride across and around Tees Valley (7-12 May 2023).

Our second Community Outreach Tour (this time in the North East of England) will take place 7-12 May. We’ll be touring across Tees Valley and the surrounding area, offering a jam-packed programme of campaign events and activities delivered in the heart of local communities.
Helping to change the narrative on persistent pain
It really is incredible to see how far the Flippin’ Pain campaign has evolved since our first public engagement event in Boston, Lincolnshire in September 2019. We didn’t know then just how significant our role would be in helping people make sense of their pain, influencing the way healthcare professionals support people living with chronic pain, and place a much-needed spotlight on the condition.
