Pain: Do you GET it? Kirklees (Online)

Pain: Do you GET it? Online

A talk for anyone affected by pain across Kirklees.

Persistent pain can be tough - and there's so much misinformation out there, it can be hard to know what to trust. That's why Flippin' Pain is here to help.

Flippin’ Pain is an awareness campaign, working with the NHS and Cora Health. We share this latest (often surprising) science of pain with people across the UK.

We want to invite you to watch Pain: Do you GET it?, a talk all about the science of pain and what helps to manage it.

Our expert team will guide you through:

  • Why some of what we think about pain is wrong,

  • How pain really works

  • How learning about YOUR pain can help you manage it better.

This 90-minute webinar will include opportunity for you to ask your questions to an expert panel, which includes people personally affected by chronic pain and healthcare professionals.

Watching the webinar also gives you free access to Why We Hurt, Flippin’ Pain’s interactive digital programme built by people living with pain, for people with pain.

Getting to know the real science has shown to have game-changing results. It can change how we think about persistent pain, what we do about it, and even how it feels.

This could be your first step on the way to recovery, whatever recovery looks like for you.
