Flippin’ Pain presents ‘Pain Education for the Nation’! Our biggest and (possibly) the world’s largest ever pain education event, set to mark European Pain Awareness Day 2025 on the 15th of October!
Chronic or persistent pain affects up to 50% of people in the UK (around 28 million people!) and is the leading cause of disability and work loss worldwide, often resulting in a lonely struggle for those experiencing it.
The problem? Simply put, the current way of treating pain is not working, with the number of people affected by it predicted to rise by 2040. We’ve decided enough is enough: we need a clearer understanding on what works and what doesn’t when it comes to living with pain.
The good news is that recovery from persistent pain is possible: if we have the knowledge and tools to achieve it.
That’s why Flippin’ Pain has decided that it’s time to bring people together for Pain Education for the Nation: supporting EVERYONE affected by pain. This awareness event focuses on the power of understanding pain better, in order to change the way we talk about it and treat it.
