Did you know that…

  • 28 million people in the UK live with persistent pain (often called ‘chronic’ pain).

  • Numbers are expected to rise by 32% before 2040 (a bigger increase than any other major condition).

  • Pain is the no.1 barrier to being physically active for people with a health condition.

Living with pain can be tough. And supporting people who live with persistent pain can be tricky too. Myths and misinformation are commonplace and pose a significant – often daily – challenge. But Flippin’ Pain can help!

Endorsed by the British Pain Society and the European Pain Federation, Flippin’ Pain is a public health movement that explains the (often surprising) science of persistent pain in an easy-to-understand way.

Led by experts, this entertaining,  explore the complex biological, psychological, and social aspects of pain. We’ll also place a special focus on physical activity, which has been proven to be one of the most effective approaches.
